Special Event Hall

Eisemann Design had a pleasure to work on a number of projects for APhA (American Pharmacists Association) at its headquarters in Downtown, DC. We developed a complex design of a main level hallway to become a functional space for special events. What used to be a pathway leading only to an egress, was turned into an inviting area with exhibits dedicated to the history of APhA and history of pharmacy in general. Historical items, memorabilia and paintings were carefuly selected and displayed in restored furniture pieces. We selected color scheme for the area and a textured wallpaper, which set the tone for the space. We designed an oversize custom rug and installed permanent exhibitions on the walls. Protective UV films covered the windows and restored and framed paintings. Professional lighting and audio-video systems were installed in the area to service special events.
