Interior Design Consultation
One of our most popular services is a consultation at a client’s house or office. If you don’t know how to start your remodeling project, we will help you figure out what needs to be done, in what order, and we will give you instant design tips that move you in the right direction. Typically, we meet for an hour or two, and this service is priced at $150 per hour.
Call us today to schedule your consultation!
Follow-up in-studio design work
Our clients often need more advice from us beyond the initial consultation, which results in a follow-up design work communicated via email or telephone. Depending on individual needs of our clients, we are happy to help solve various design dilemmas, or work on packages, such as design for a single room. We will discuss with our clients the cost of such a service in advance based on a lower fee of $100 per hour.
Interior design work related to remodeling or renovation
We will be happy to help you plan and design a new chapter of you house or office. We have expertise and experience you need to make it a pleasant transition with no mistakes. We are very flexible and our process may include some or all of the following steps:
Art Consultation
Assistance with selection and acquiring artwork for your home or office from various sources or directly from the artists. We offer advice on how to best frame and display art pieces.
Eisemann Design had a pleasure to work on a number of projects for APhA (American Pharmacists Association) at its headquarters in Downtown, DC. We developed a complex design of a main level hallway to become a functional space for special events.
Vibrant colors, new furniture and original artwork was brought to a lawyers office in Washington’s Adams Morgan district. Eisemann Design designed and administered a full renovation of a townhouse office which involved painting wall colors, replacing flooring, renovating an office kitchen, selecting new office furniture in coordination with existing and new designer’s accent pieces.
Through a complete renovation, we transformed an outdated bathroom into a contemporary oasis, with rich tiles and high end fixtures.
If you need to update your dated interior setting, look no further! Iza has a sharp eye for everything that needs to be renovated. She offers design choices, taking into account her clients’ preferences and budgets. She is efficient and easy to work with. I am very pleased with the result of my entire main level renovation!
I hired Iza while remodeling three different apartments. She helped with various design tasks, from drawing new floor plans that included major changes involving moving and removing walls to create an open floor plan, to working on bathroom remodels, to recommending paint color and helping with furniture selection. Working with Iza was always a collaborative process, she was listening to what my husband and I wanted, and then made her recommendations. Being an experienced interior designer, she has her contacts and can point you to her favorite stores, websites and products. This is really helpful, and can be cost saving, during big and time-consuming projects, when there are literally hundreds of decisions to make. And perhaps the greatest benefit of working with Iza is that she can steer you away from some design mistakes, but she won’t push her vision on you. Iza is a creative spirit and easy to work with. And we are really happy with the end results.
I highly recommend Iza. She’s innovative, easy to work with, great listener who doesn’t impose her views or ideas on projects. She does a good job of blending more expensive items that set a room with less expensive fun pieces that you can switch up over time. I felt like I had a really partner, with a clear vision who was also willing to go with what truly made me happy. I now feel like I have a finished home that I can add to overtime
Iza is fantastic. Her technical skills on the subject matter are widely known. But a combination of those skills with her unique soft skills, emotional intelligence, and sensitivity to individual needs of her clients is unique. And the taste – she has such a good taste that I recommend that you pause if you disagree with her, because a week after you are likely to regret that you did not reflect deeper and agree with her. I found Iza always right on the grand design, colors, detailed design, proportions, style, taste – she reads your personality and understands both who you are and how you would like to be seen by those who visit you and interact with you. And there is no judgment passed: however bad your taste may be, she will present it to others in a glorious way and she will also tacitly teach you, how you can improve your aesthetic vision, your sense of proportions, colors, shapes, angles, and perhaps even life plans. You will be deeply grateful in the end.
Iza helped us when we first moved to our house to choose wonderful paint colors and think about how to integrate new and old furniture. It was definitely worth the investment to have her keen eyes and ideas about color as we were trying to turn a house that was all white and pretty plain into something much more interesting and cozy. She was very easy to work with. I had never before, or since, hired anyone to work with me in this way. Not something that is typically in my budget. But as I said, it was well worth the investment, and a reasonable price. Given that we haven’t changed anything since, and won’t have the budget to for a while, it was really worth paying a bit more at the front end to have design and color choices that were “right” and would last for a long time.
Iza helped me with office design at my law firm, and a bathroom renovation at home. She is extremely professional. I liked the way she was able to integrate some of the things I already had at the office into the final design. But I also appreciated her firmness when “that thing has to go.” I would recommend her without reservation. The bathroom design went great too. She found really nice ceramic tiles and added a switch to heat the floor. The bathroom is small, so she recommended a sliding glass door for the shower, which looks nice and saved a lot of space.
At the recommendation of a friend, I turned to Iza to help me curate and arrange art work in my house when I was at a loss on how to proceed. My art work covers a diverse range from paintings to prints and photographs. Iza helped me choose the pieces for each room of the house, mindful of how the art played off the furniture and the other décor. She truly has a good eye for pulling a room together into a satisfying whole, down to the wall colors. I hired her on a later occasion to help me with space plan and furniture placement. I was very satisfied with her work and would highly recommend her to other people.
